Floyd Mayweather’s Camp Sabotaging Manny Pacquiao’s Training? Freddie Roach Accuses Al Haymon Of Paying Pac-Man’s 4 Sparring Partners To Just Stay Home

Two months from now, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will clash in MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 2. However, Manny might come less prepared for the fight as a member from Mayweather's camp, Al Haymon, is paying Pacquiao's training partners to just stay home.

According to Rappler, Pac-Man's coach Freddie Roach accuses Haymon of doubling the payment for fighters with similar fighting style of Floyd Mayweather and not train with Pacquiao.

"I'm hiring sparring partners. Al Haymon's people call them up and offer more money for them not to come," Roach said via ABS-CBN News. "But I'm not worried about those guys."

"We got 4 really good sparring partners for Manny for this fight; Mayweather look-alikes."

Pacquiao will be the next fighter to get a shot on blemishing Mayweather's record and halt the American boxer's winning streak to 47.

"We started our game plan five years ago but we changed it a little bit. Definitely there will be some adjustments. I'm confident that we'll win the fight and this will be the biggest fight night of all our lives," said Roach, who recently predicted Pacquiao to knock out Mayweather in the later rounds of the bout.

"The guy is undefeated, he's a very good boxer and he's the most talented fighter we'll ever face. I believe we need to fight the perfect fight."

Meanwhile, Roach also said in another interview with Rappler that they will have a great advantage since Roger Mayweather is out as Floyd's trainer and Floyd Mayweather Sr. will be the one manning Floyd Jr.'s corner.

"Luckily Roger won't be running the corner for Floyd, his dad is in the corner," the legendary trainer states.

"I think Floyd Sr makes it an easier fight for us. The dad's not as good a trainer, he's not as good a fighter. He keeps telling me how great he is, but it takes him 10 minutes to say one word in the corner."

"Roger is the better fighter," Roach reiterates. "Roger is the better trainer, Roger has more wins with Floyd than anybody. I think it's a huge mistake getting rid of Roger and going with his Dad. I love his Dad in the corner."
