Psy apologized for his past song talking about anti-America.

Yesterday during an interview with the Washington Post, he commented, "The lyrics were a bit overboard. I regret it very much."

Back in 2004, Psy performed a song with Korean group N.E.X.T a song called, "Dear America."

The Washington Post released an article titled, "A penitent Psy brings 'Gangnam Style to Washington".

Psy commented that during that time, the country was in much pain due to the death of 2 young girls. He wanted to express his pain through a song.

Psy also commented, "It has been 8-9 years since that song and I have changed a lot. I truly apologize for my actions."
