The New Honda Civic Type R 2015 Specs And Improvements Revealed As Car Undergoes Production

The recently released specs of the Honda Civic Type R 2015 has been making a buzz on the internet, with car enthusiasts and fans alike lining up to reserve their own unit.

Geared to be the best hot hatch ever produced, in terms of power and speed, the Honda Civic Type R 2015 is set to meet the expectations of even the most demanding driver there is, this according to fans who follow news about the said car.

  • 2.0-liter VTEC turbo four with 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, all resulting in a top speed of 167 miles per hour. This feature is cited to be the most powerful production engine Honda has ever made.
  • Six-speed manual transmission with electric power steering; New suspension designed to combat torque steer, with hard-turn support. Also includes 19-inch wheels with Brembo brakes and adaptive dampers, resulting to an improved driving experience. 
  • Improved interior made up of synthetic suede upholstering for all seats, and an aluminum gear knob.

Full specifications for the car is yet to be released. However, the units are already in production, and fans cannot seem to keep from themselves the excitement the Civic Type R brings out of them.

"The new 2015 Civic Type R will be powered by the most extreme and high-performing engine in the 22-year history of the red 'H' badge, signalling the start of a new performance era for the Honda brand."
