On March 19, Epik High and Crayon Pop will headline the official South by Southwest (SXSW) showcase K-Pop Night Out at Elysium in Austin, Texas.

The event is presented by KOCCA, the Korea Creative Content Agency. K-Pop Night Out is in its third year. The showcase brings Korean pop and rock to the forefront of SXSW programming.

Included in the lineup for K-Pop Night Out is Hitchhiker, the moniker for K-pop producer Choi Jin Woo. Hitchhiker’s production credits include EXO’s “My Lady” and the Girls’ Generation hit “Hoot.” He received attention in 2014 for his eye-catching video “11” which was accompanied by a club banger dubstep track.

Husband-wife duo EE, who have extensively worked within the creative process of K-Pop music videos, will deliver their unique style of performance art at the showcase.

The Barberettes, a 1960s inspired girl group trio, will bring pinup style to the Korean pop show.

Korean rock acts Eastern Sidekick and Asian Chairshot will kick off the thrilling night of music.

Doors open at 7 p.m. CST. The artists at K-Pop Night Out will also make appearances at the K-Pop Meetup on 3/20 at Blackheart.

Fans who would like to attend can RSVP but K-Pop Night Out and the K-Pop Meetup on March 20, are official SXSW events. Official SXSW events require Music or Platinum badges for guaranteed entry. Artist wristbands are also accepted for priority entry.

 The SXSW 2015 Music festival will kick off on March 17. In addition to K-Pop Night Out, there are numerous events for fans of Korean pop, rock and Asian music.
