Tiger Woods' Girlfriend Lindsey Vonn Makes Ski History As Golfer Skips Arnold Palmer Invitational

Lindsey Vonn, the skiing girlfriend of Tiger Woods, made history after recording her 65th World Cup win during the Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany on a time of one minute and 16.65 seconds. Meanwhile, the golfer will skip the Arnold Palmer Invitational as he continues to rehabilitate.

"Yesterday was disappointing so I came out with the right attitude. I wanted to ski my best and attack and I did. A nice way to win," Lindsey Vonn said, per USA Today.

Tiger Woods' girlfriend is chasing her fifth Super-G World Cup title, as her 65th career win placed her eight points over Anna Fenniger of Austria in the standings.

"It's going to be a close fight. I'll have to ski my best and I hope I can get two titles," she said.

Tiger Woods' girlfriend Lindsey Vonn is on the road to reclaim past glory after suffering from two serious injuries that threatened to put her career on halt.

The athlete's road to recovery from her two injuries to compete in the 2015 World Championships in Vail Colorado is documented in "Lindsey Vonn: The Climb," which will premiere on NBC, said corporate sponsor and producer, Red Bull's, website.

For his part, Tiger Woods is also trying to reclaim the top spot in golf.

The Washington Post reported that Tiger Woods has announced an indefinite leave from the game because his game "needs a lot of work."

"Among his many injuries over the last few years, he underwent a microdiscectomy last spring. He was withdrawn from play three times because of an injury and no longer ranks among the world's top 70 players," The Post said.

In a statement posted on his website, Tiger Woods confirmed that he won't be playing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational this year.

"I'm sorry I won't be in Orlando next week, but I know it will be a really successful event."

He added, "I've put in a lot of time and work on my game and I'm making strides, but like I've said, I won't return to the PGA TOUR until my game is tournament ready and I can compete at the highest level."

"I hope to be ready for the Masters, and I will continue to work hard preparing for Augusta. I want to thank everyone again for their support," Tiger Woods said.
