News about "The Incredibles 2" release date has been creating enough buzz to have fans excited and giddy about the film.

As previously reported, there have been numerous rumors generated by fans as to when the release date for the highly-anticipated movie will be. According to them, they have took it upon themselves to speculate a date and hopefully reach the producers and instill pressure to make these demands true.

The rumored "The Incredibles 2" release date is sometime in 2016, and while there still has no statement released officially about the date, fans are hopeful that their speculation will prove to be correct.

Regardless of the lack of statement about the official release date, movie director Brad Bird had spoken up about the other details of the upcoming movie, particularly his initial hesitations with making a sequel for a highly successful first film.

"Pixar does not look at sequels as a financial plan," he said, as taken from Crossmap. "We feel we have a relationship with the audience and that they believe in each movie we put out. We believe completely in every movie we put out."

"If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than that first film, then I'd love to return to that world, but it would to be story first."

Josh Hollander, who is responsible for the 3D elements of the film, also released a statement.

"Right now, we're working on The Incredibles, which is a lot of fun in 3D," he said, taken from the same source cited above."I'm not sure what the release strategy for it will be. The plot for the sequel is yet to be finalized, but according to Wikia, it will be focusing on the life of The Incredibles' youngest member, Jack-Jack, who was seen in the last part of the original film to be unleashing his powers to save his family.
