Since "Attack on Titan" season 2 was confirmed last year, fans are wondering where the story will revolve. Should the anime remain faithful to the manga, the "Clash of the Titans" arc and "The Uprising" arc should be next in line.

The reports came from Otaku House last April 1 2014, confirming that the next season will air in July 2015. This is after Rocket News 24, a Japanese news blog confirmed that AOT producer Wit Studio is working on a second season.

"Attack On Titan" season 1 covered "The Fall of Shiganshina" arc, "104th Trainees Squad" arc, "Battle of Trost District" arc, and "The Female Titan" arc.

The first season ended with the fourth story arc of the "Attack on Titan" series, "The Female Titan" arc. Eren is designated to the Levi Squad as a member of the Survey Corps. As they get ready for an upcoming expedition, they were massacred by Titans. In the end, Eren and Annie had a face-off and Titan Eren delivered a heavy blow on Annie.

The fifth story arc of the "Attack on Titan," the "Clash of Titans" arc encompasses the Titans appearance inside the wall, which forced 104th Trainees Squad to a brutal battle against those mysterious Titans. Unknown to them, those Titans are actually members from their group. Eren, shocked, battles them in a decisive battle.

The sixth story arc of the "Attack on Titan" series, "The Uprising" arc follows the event of the fifth arc, wherein the situation inside Wall Rose becomes critical after the killing of Pastor Nick and the kidnapping of Eren and Historia. After finding out about the king's actions that would put humanity in jeopardy, Erwin begins his plan as he and his group try to execute a coup d'etat against the government.
