Many K-Pop stars made their appearance at the Japan Golden Disk Awards.

Group KARA won the 'triple crown' at the 27th Japan Golden Disk Awards with Best Asian Artist, Album of the Year and Asia Best 3 Album awards.

Recently, KARA held a solo concert at the Tokyo Dome with 48,000 fans, making it the first for a Korean artist. 

Aside from KARA, other artists also won awards such as Girls' Generation with Asia Song of the Year and Asia Best MV award.

B1A4, IU and Boyfriend also won the Best 3 New Artist award as well.

K-Pop's global popularity could be seen at the Japan Golden Disk Awards.
