‘Tokyo Ghoul: Jack’ Anime Release Date Set In May Or June? 'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Expected Summer Of 2015

Fans are in for more "Tokyo Ghoul" action as "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack" will get an anime adaptation as well. "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack" is expected to hit TV screens in May or June while "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 release date is being considered for a summer of 2015 launch.

Anime News Network confirmed that the "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack" spinoff is indeed in the works and here's a brief synopsis of the online manga:

"In 'Tokyo Ghoul: Jack,' an incident involving a human-devouring Ghoul occurs in Tokyo's 13th Ward. To seek the truth behind what happened to his friend, the rebellious high school boy Taishi Fura pursues the Ghoul named Lantern with the young ace investigator Kishō Arima. The story follows how the ace investigator Arima and the talented 7th Ward investigator Taishi Fura first met."

With that said, Pierrot studios could plan to air the 'Tokyo Ghoul: Jack' spinoff before they kick-off 'Tokyo Ghoul' season 3 which is being planned to be aired summer of this year which is July onwards. Can fans expect the announcement this month and could the OVA be aired either May or June? Stay tuned.

"The story will revolve around Kaneki who is now an amnesiac and is now known as Haise Sasaki, a rank 1 investigator and the leader of a special unit of investigators at the Commission of Counter Ghoul called Quinx Squad. All the members of that unit underwent similar surgeries as him, allowing them to obtain the special abilities of ghouls in order to fight them, but still being able to live as normal humans."
