Tracy Morgan Shows More Positive Signs Of Recovery As '30 Rock' Actor Looks In Good Condition While Shopping Almost A Year After Tragic Car Crash

Tracy Morgan looks on pace to recovery nearly a year after the car crash as he was snapped in good condition while heading out in New Jersey with his fiancee, Megan Wollover, and daughter on Monday.

"This comes a little over a month after Morgan was forced to miss the 'Saturday Night Live' 40th anniversary special, though he was acknowledged for his many contributions to the show in which his 30 Rock castmates Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin introduced one of his most famous characters, the eccentric zoologist Brian Fellows," Daily Mail reported.

According to the Associated Press, the "SNL" paid tribute to Tracy Morgan, led by his "30 Rock" co-stars Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey, last month.

"But Morgan hasn't watched it yet because he isn't emotionally ready to see it yet," it said. "Morgan was unable to attend the event, so his former 30 Rock co-stars paid homage to him by introducing a clip of his one of his most beloved characters, Brian Fellow."

Tracy Morgan's recovery has been arduous after spending two months at a hospital as well as rehab. He suffered brain injury as a result of the car crash at the New Jersey Turnpike that also killed his friend, comedian James McNair.

Back in November last year, the "30 Rock" actor's lawyer Benedict Morelli relayed his client's condition update to reporters claiming that Tracy Morgan's recovery is an uphill climb, which might affect his career.

"He's fighting to get better, and if there's a chance for him to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he's going to try to do that," he said.

"But we just don't know because of the severity of the injuries that he sustained and the fact that he had such a severe brain injury."

"30 Rock" actress Tina Fey has promised Tracy Morgan that work is waiting for him after his recovery with her new show "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" over at Netflix.
