Tailgating? Try Out These 'Gangnam Style'-Inspired Recipes!

Ever since Psy's "Gangnam Style" music video was released on YouTube back in July 2012, people all around the world have been horse dancing to the infectious hit. So far, we've seen people dancing at college campuses, professional tennis matches, shopping centers, on city streets, and even in a prison!

"Gangnam Style" is also hugely popular in the NFL. For the past couple of weeks, we've seen players bust out their horse dancing skills to celebrate their sacks, touchdown catches or touchdown runs.

So it wouldn't be too surprising to see some people dance to "Gangnam Style" tomorrow at the parking lot of Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. (The Patriots will host the Houston Texans in a divisional playoff game.) After all, people at tailgating parties often pump out loud music while grilling food, drinking, and interacting with other fans.

All that dancing will surely make you hungry, so if you're attending the match, Steve Postal, a sports chef expert at Fenway Park, has a few tailgating tips. Snack on the Gangnam Style Ribs or the Vietnamese sandwich with pork belly and sausage. Yum! And let's not forget the Thai-style chicken wings with peanut and cilantro! Check out the recipes below!

And even if you're not a football fan, why not try out these recipes anyway? They sound delicious!

Korean Gangnam Style Ribs:

For the sauce:

12 oz Coca Cola

1 cup hoisin sauce

1/4 pickled ginger

1/2 cup Korean Chili flake

1/2 mirin

Boil and reduce for a few minutes, strain and set aside. Keep the sauce in the fridge for a very long time. Grab some pork spareribs and rub them with your favorite BBQ rub. Roast them at 350 degrees for 1.5 hours. Let them cool. Cut them into individual ribs. Grill them up and toss with the Gangnam sauce.

Pork Belly and Ndjua Bahn mi:

Take a pork belly and season it liberally with salt and pepper. Cover with duck fat and cook at 325 degrees for four hours. Remove from fat and let it chill.

Pickled vegetable mix

This can be any mixture you like. Postal uses carrots, cucumbers, daikon, red cabbage, jalapenos and green cabbage. Just add salt and rice wine vinegar and let it sit for a while.

Mix the two together, then build the sandwich. Cut the baguette in half. On the bottom, put some siracha mayo and then spread the ndjua and pork belly on top. Then, top that with the pickled vegetable mix and top that with Thai basil, cilantro and mint.

Thai Lady Boy Wings:

For the sauce:

3/4 cup soy sauce

1 cup siracha

1 cup fish sauce

2 cans of coconut cream or milk

1/4 cup tamarind paste

juice of 3 limes

3/4 cup of sugar

Boil and reduce for a few minutes then strain and set aside. Sauce will keep in the fridge for a long time. Grill up some chicken wings and toss with some sauce, chopped peanuts and cilantro.
