Michael Schumacher's Son Mick Begins Carving Name In Professional Racing Amid F1 Champion's Seemingly Lack Of Health News Updates

Mick Schumacher has taken the first steps in following after his father, Michael's, footsteps as the teenager joins F4 test run. Meanwhile, news updates for recovery of the seven-time racing champion are still very scarce.

The son of the racing legend Michael Schumacher has moved up from kart racing as he stepped into a Formula 4 car at the Oschersleben circuit in Germany for Van Amersfoort.

"The test, his second in a Formula 4 machine, gave Mick a small taste of the media attention his father faced during his career with cameras recording his every movement," Fox said.

Mick Schumacher finished the three runs at eight, fifth and 12th, respectively.

Michael Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm, who also manages the career of Mick, said, "We musn't forget that this is a young boy who has just turned 16."

"From my point of view, and this is something I want to primarily ensure, we shouldn't raise expectations too high," she said. "He will gain a lot of new experience this year and, at the same time, do everything to give his best.

"But of course, I would like to ask very much for restraint so that he can really call on his best possible performance."

While Mick Schumacher is only his way to carving a good career in racing, his father Michael Schumacher's health condition is still very much in the air.

The family has imposed a news blackout on Michael Schumacher's health recovery following the skiing accident while on vacation in the Alps.

The most recent news regarindg Michael Schumacher's condition came from Express which talked to a source who said, "there is no miracle on the horizon."

"Progress is painfully slow," a source said.

Earlier, Sabine Kehm told The Sydney Morning Herald that "it is not possible to give any kind of reliable prognosis" on Michael Schumacher's condition.

"It remains unclear whether Schumacher will ever recover significantly enough to live a relatively normal life, never mind get behind the wheel of a racing car," the publication said.
