Manny Pacquiao Movie: Details Of Boxer's New Documentary Revealed; Plus A Look At His New Music Video!

A new Manny Pacquiao movie is being released. The documentary "Manny" traces the life of the boxer, who grew up in extreme poverty, and started boxing for money, and then eventually rose up to the top rank in the boxing world.

To date the boxer holds world titles in eight weight classes. He is also an elected congressman in the Philippines.

Narrated by actor Liam Neeson, the documentary also features the many challenges Manny faced in his career, as coach Freddie Roach trained him to be a world class boxer. One of the more grueling things Manny had to learn according to his coach, was how to strengthen his right hand, to be able to punch as powerfully as his left.

Aside from his coach, a couple of famous celebrity admirers of Pacquiao also appeared in the video. Actor Mark Wahlberg is featured, recalling how joyous it was to watch the boxer as he entered the arena. Meanwhile, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel recounted how Pacquiao sang a song on his show with comedian Will Ferrell.

It's no secret that the boxer is fond of singing. In fact, in 2006 he even released an album. His cover version of the song "Sometimes When We Touch" made it to the US charts back in 2011.

And now, Manny Pacquiao recently released a music video for a new song that he recorder. "Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino" ("I Fight For The Filipino People") was reportedly created specifically to serve as Pacquiao's walkout music for his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather.

The video, which Pacquiao himself directed featured different montages of children and several clips of Manny in training. It is reportedly intended to be a tribute to all his Filipino fans, and meant to inspire his countrymen, especially those who endured the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan in 2013.
