One of South Korea's most popular hip-hop acts will make their way to the western hemisphere.
Epik High, a male alternative hip-hop trio under Korea's YG Entertainment label, announced six tour dates in North America, and on April 20 the group's official YouTube account shared a teaser video for the concert tour.
The half-minute long teaser video features video from Epik High's previous concerts and music videos, highlighting each of the three members individually. The teaser also features the instrumental background track of Epik High's hit 2014 song, "Born Hater."
The concert tour will begin in California on May 28, in San Francisco's Warfield Theater. The next day, May 29, Epik High will appear in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theater before heading to Vancouver, Canada for a show on May 31, when Epik High will perform on the stage of Vogue Theater. The three will then return to the United States, heading to its only show in the southern half of the United States, a show in Dallas at the South Side Music Hall on June 5.
Epik High's final concert stop in North America will be at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on June 14.
Tickets for several of the shows went on sale on April 15, and within an hour the Epik High stops in Vancouver and Toronto were sold out.
Fans can also enter a contest on Epik High's concert Instagram page to win tickets.
The six stop concert series is brought to North America by SIVA group.
Epik High debuted under Woollim Entertainment in 2003, and after their contracts expired with Woollim switch to YG Entertainment in 2012. The trio was recently placed in charge of a new YG Entertainment label, High Ground, headed by Epik High member Tablo.
