'The Incredibles 2' Plot Will Involve A Timeskip? Release Date Rumored On November 17, 2017

"The Incredibles 2" is officially in the works as creator Brad Bird confirmed that he is currently writing the film's script. Also, the film's plot points to a possible timeskip and rumor has it that the film is aiming for a Nov. 17, 2017 release date.

In our previous report via Comicbook.com, Bird said that he is now working on "The Incredibles 2" since he is done with his other film, "Tomorrowland."

"I'm just starting to write it, so we'll see what happens," Bird said.

Also stated in our previous report via Christianity Daily is that "Pixar has recently reserved two released dates: Nov. 22, 2017 and June 15, 2018. The website is assuming that either "The Incredibles 2" or "Cars 3" will be placed on said release dates. Questions regarding "Incredibles 2" release date will be answered by Pixar when D23 Expo arrives in Aug. 2015."

As soon as "The Incredibles" was announced to have a sequel last year, Samuel L. Jackson was immediately tapped to reprise his role as Frozone. As a result, he is bombarded by plenty of questions regarding "The Incredibles 2" plot or its release date.

Although he gave fans some details, no information about the story was revealed aside from Frozone playing an equally big role in the sequel. (via Cross Maps)

"Everytime I run into Brad, he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that. I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there."

He added, "I'm looking forward to what Jack-jack turned into."

Given that, it seems like the podcast by Screen Rant saying that a timeskip will ensue might actually come true.

According to Crossmap, "'The Incredibles' sequel could pick-up in real time, meaning fans could see older versions of the characters-the approach Pixar took for 'Toy Story 3,' which was released 11 years after the second installment."
