Why Demi Lovato's Tattoo Meaning Remains A Mystery: 'I Don’t Remember You Or Getting Tattooed By You,' She Tells Artist In Response

Demi Lovato has responded to social media attacks from tattoo artist Ashley McMullen, who criticized the singer for covering up her "vagina tattoo" on her forearm with a rose.

"Bye bye and hello .. Thank you SO MUCH to my brother @GEESPOTAT2... It looks beaaauutiful and I LOVE it!! #RIPvaginatattoo #kidsdontdodrugs," Demi Lovato captioned an Instagram photo showing off the new design.

But McMullen didn't take too well to the edits.

"Cool post @ddlovato, thanks for getting the tattoo covered up I did for free that you specifically asked for. Not to mention you didn't even have the courtesy to offer me any money in the first place," she said in response.

McMullen later added: "You pissed all over our toilet seat and you made a fool of yourself. What a shame that people look up to you. The tattoo you covered it with kinda sucks too. Looks like you might forever be a goon." She also added loads of hashtags to fuel to the fire, including, "#demilovato #scumbag #turd #claimstobesober #drankallthebeer #peepeetoiletseat #yousuck."

Finally, Demi Lovato addressed the scandal, writing a strongly-worded apology leaving its meaning a mystery for fans.

"First, I would like to say I'm really sorry I don't remember you or getting tattooed by you, but as you know I was f--ked up and sometimes people act like '#turds' when they're loaded," she says in one part of her letter.
