Tom Brady has been under fire recently after news about his lie during the DeflateGate issue came out.

As reported by the Chicago Tribune, the NFL superstar has cheated during the AFC championship game. This was pointed out and proven by Ted Wells, who is the investigator for the DeflateGate scandal in the NFL. In his report, he wrote that two equipment men deflated the game's footballs to benefit Brady.

How he used it to his advantage remains unkown, but the source claimed that Brady should be punished. Some fans even say that the whole New England Patriots should be suspended because of housing a lying athlete.

Colts General Manager Ryan Grigson, released a statement about the whole scandal. 

"It is well known around the league that after the Patriots gameballs are checked by the officials and brought out for game usage the ballboys for the patriots will let out some air with a ball needle because their quarterback likes a smaller football so he can grip it better," Grigson wrote. "It would be great if someone would be able to check the air in the game balls as the game goes on so that they don't get an illegal advantage."

To add to this, included in Wells' report was an implication that Brady knew about the pre-game deflation happening in the lockers even though he vehemently denies it.

"Brady denied any knowledge of or involvement in any efforts to deflate game balls after the pre-game inspection by the game officials," read the report. "We found these claims not plausible and contradicted by other evidence."

"In fact, during his interview, [John] Jastremski acknowledged that Brady knew McNally and McNally's role as Officials Locker Room attendant," added the report. "Similarly, McNally told NFL Security that he had been personally told by Brady of Brady's inflation level preference." Jastremski is an equipment manager for the game at that time. Upon investigation, it was found out that he had a trail of calls in his phone with Brady.

It can be recalled that Tom Brady delivered a news conerence two days after the AFC championship, during which he spoke about the issue and denied the claims.

Now that the truth is out, the consequences remains unkown as Brady is considered to be one of the greatest athletes in the history of the National Football League. He has been the only one to play in six different Super Bowls and has been the leader of their team on the field for quite some time, undisputedly.
