Beyonce Takes Superbowl Halftime Stage; Twitter Expected to Crash [LIVE STREAM]

Beyonce is just moments away from performing the performance of a lifetime at the 2013 Superbowl Halftime show. After impressive pre-game performances, Beyonce is expected to wow the 72,000 Superbowl attendees and the millions watching from home. Beyonce's Superbowl performance is even expected to take down Twitter due to so much fan traffic.

"Beyonce Bowl," Solange Knowles, Beyonce's sister tweeted.

"Looking forward to Beyonce at HT. Gotta be better than Madonna shaking her wrinkly arse and any day..." another fan wrote on the social media site. 

Beyonce's MTV VMA 2011 performance of "Love On Top" made Twitter history as one of the most talked about moments. During her live performance, Beyonce publicly announced her pregnancy with husband, Jay Z.

The Twitter-sphere was raving about the Superbowl 2013 pregame performances. Jennifer Hudson and the Sandy Hook Elementary School choir took to the field for a performance of "America the Beautiful."

"Jennifer Hudson DELIVERED and looked amazing. I love that they gave those kids a meaningful and positive moment to remember," one fan wrote on Twitter shortly after the performance. 

"That Sandy Hook/Jennifer Hudson combo was as good as any pregame ive ever seen," another fan posted.

Alicia Keys took the stage shortly after Jennifer Hudson. The "Girl on Fire" singer performed the National Anthem to official launch the Super Bowl 2013 games. 

Keys joins a list of many other stars who have also had the honor of singing at the Super Bowl. Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Kelly Clarkson, Natalie Cole, Faith Hill, and Billy Joel are among the many entertainers who have graced the Super Bowl stage.

Super Bowl 2012 became the most-watched television program in history with 111.3 million viewers in the US.
