Girls' Generation Concludes Korea Activities, 'Preparation for Japan 7 City Tour'

Group Girls' Generation has officially finished their activities in Korea for their 4th album.

Yesterday, SM Entertainment stated that their performance on February 2 marked the end of their "I Got a Boy" activities.

This new album was their first album since their last one 14 months ago. Their title song, "I Got a Boy," revealed a retro urban genre with a mix of dance and electronic. 

Many top producers worked together to create their title song. This song brought them to the top of many music charts and was the most talked about in foreign media.

They ranked number 1 on the U.S. Billboard world albums chart as well as reaching 30 million YouTube views for their music video. 

SM commented, "We were able to feel their global power once again through this new album."

Girls' Generation will be continuing on to Japan on February 9 to begin their 7 city Japan arena tour.

This will be their second arena tour in Japan. They will be stopping in 7 cities for a total of 22 peformances.

They are also planning on releasing another album in the states. They will be working with Interscope records to create their english album.

There are no confirmed news about their U.S. album yet but they are in discussion.
