CNBLUE Rules the K-Pop Scene for January, 'No Rivals'

Band CNBLUE took over the K-Pop scene this January with their new song, "I'm Sorry."

CNBLUE came back this year with their 4th mini album, Re:BLUE, and ranked number 1 on the U.S. Billboard World Albums Chart. They also ranked number 1 on KBS "Music Bank" as well as other music charts.

Their broadcast score was also higher than most groups, making them stick out from the rest. They also became the hot issue of internet portal sites as well as the most searched on search engines, showing the public's wide interest in the band.

After winning first place on a music show program, they showed off another side to them. They had promised that if they won first place that they would do push ups on stage during their encore performance. Sure enough, they won, and the members were seen doing push ups on stage.

Member Lee Jong Hyun posted on twitter, "We will take this trophy as a way to say thanks to our members, our agency, our families and our fans. Thank you all so much! We love you!"

This album is also special because the whole album, including the title song, was all self-composed by the group. Their music has been gaining much attention outside of Korea as well. During their comeback performance, they also gained much interest as they performed all live performances on stage.

On the other hand, CNBLUE is preparing for their world tour, which will be the first for a Korean band.
