Lynsi Torres, Owner of In-N-Out is the Youngest Female Billionaire

Lynsi Torres the owner and heiress of the In-N-Out Burger became the world's youngest American female billionaire according to Bloomberg.

Torres the only grandchild of Harry and Ester Snyder, who founded the hamburger chain in 1948, inherited the family business after her grandmother passed away in 2006.

Bloomberg Billionaires Index reports the chain is now worth roughly $1.1 billion due to the large fan base in nearly 280 restaurants in five states.

Torres has currently half ownership through a trust and will have full ownership upon receiving her final shares upon turning 35. The restaurant chain developed a highly loyal customer base as it stayed private, while many of the competitors turned to franchise, to maintain quality control.

Torres has kept a low profile over the years with only few photos online and not much is known and the Bloomberg profile seems to lack much details. Although she lacks a college degree or formal management training, it doesn't seem to hinder the success of In-N-Out considering the demand it receives for expansion in other states that where it currently operates.

According to Conrad Lyon, a restaurant analyst, "To outsiders the company's growth out West likely appears sluggish. However, it was management carefully leveraging its brand, real estate and distribution. As a private company-owned system, In-N-Out has the luxury of calling the shots to replicate its success without succumbing to potentially detrimental outside influences."
