Jacksonville Jaguars shared a new logo during their state-of-the-team type of address on Tuesday. The change of logo is the first in the 18-year history of Jaguars franchise.

"If the Jacksonville Jaguars are truly to experience a rebirth, it was time for a new logo," owner Shad Khan said. "Not a radical change. We wanted to find the right look that was faithful to the past and respects the players and the fans, and also bring unmistakably a new energy to the Jaguars franchise.

"Our new symbol for a new generation."

New logo is revealed as part of a re-branding of the Jacksonville Jaguars franchise, a year after changing ownership, new general manager in David Caldwell and new head coach in former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
