Rumored Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date Specs Do Not Include Windows 10 OS [NEWS]

New speculation suggests that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will not include Windows 10 OS as part of its specs.

This is attributed to Microsoft's recent announcement mentioning that developmental focus for the new operating system will remain on desktop versions before expanding into mobile.

Microsoft officials are rumored to replace Intel's Haswell processors with either Broadwell of Skylake chips for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

The company is expected to announce the release date for the Surface Pro 4 on May 20, where they are set to confirm specs featured in the tablet.

These include a 12-inch display, a 5th generation Intel processor and an N-Trig surface pen, according to SlashGear

But consumers are also talking about its recently-confirmed predecessor tablet.

The final Microsoft Surface Pro 3 price drop has been announced: the devices 128GB and 256GB versions can be purchased for $899 and $1,149 respectively. Their original prices were $999 and $1,299.

The tablet went on sale in the United States on May 5;  the device's price dropped internationally on May 7.
