The Embryo Battle Between Sofia Vergara And Her Ex Reaches New Heights; Statements Released!

The ongoing battle between Sofia Vergara and her ex Nick Loeb has gone sour.

This is after reports surfaced that Nick wanted to get full control of two embryos that the former couple stored when they were still together. Now that they aren't, Loeb wants to have the embryos born through using a surrogate to carry it for him, after which he will be taking full responsibility of the children.

Loeb took to the courts to fulfill his request, which Sofia in turn, finds inappropriate. Given that they both signed a contract previously, stating that whatever actions set to made on the embryos have to be under both the parties' approval, already disclaims Loeb's wishes, according to Vergara.

In an interview with "Good Morning America," as reported by BBC, Vergara aired her sentiments about the whole embryo battle between herself and her ex.

Vergara said that Nick is taking advantage of her and that she thinks the whole issue is unfair. "I don't think it's fair," said the "Modern Family" star. "I really want to make this like the last time I talk about it."

Adding to this, the 42-year-old actress said that Loeb is allowing the media "to invent things and create press for himself. He's [Nick] not an actor. He's not a celebrity."

"It shouldn't be out there for people to give their opinion when there's nothing to talk about," she added. "There's papers signed."

As a response, Loeb also spoke in another morning show from the opposing network. Particularly NBC's "Today Show."

"Two lives have already been created," he said. "I wouldn't just toss them aside no different than a child that had been born."
