The annual 55th Grammy Awards is to take place tonight in Los Angeles with Taylor Swift stunning in a white and silver gown by J. Mendel.

As one of music's biggest events of the year, the Grammys 2013 is featuring stars like Beyonce, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Adele, Carly Rae Jepsen and more, all in one place.

Taylor Swift nominated for record of the year is expected to open the show with a big production.

Swift has already taken home her first award for Best Song Written for Visual Media for her beautiful song "Safe & Sound" with The Civil Wars.

Last year Swift wore a fabulous high-neck, puffed-sleeve golden gown from designer Zuhair Murad.

Aside of her two nominations for "Hunger Games" soundtrack track "Safe & Sound," Swift is up for Record of the Year for her lead Red single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards is to return to Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday. It will air live on the CBS Television Network at 8p.m. ET. It will be hosted for the second time by LL Cool J.
