Does Prince Harry Want Princess Charlotte Of Cambridge To Join The Armed Forces? Details Revealed!

Prince Harry finally got to meet his new niece, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge and he later shared in an interview that he would support his niece if she were to get involved in the Armed Forces.

Harry had been away for an official visit to New Zealand and a military training in Australia. And now, the prince has returned and reportedly met the little princess at Anmer Hall on Friday, May 22 according to Us Weekly.

"Harry was counting down the days to meet Charlotte," a source told Us Weekly. "He was very excited. An extremely proud uncle."

Another source was Jake Cotrell, who posted on his Twitter account that he saw Prince Harry near Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate, in Norfork last Friday.

"I have just seen Prince Harry driving through Brandon in the nicest Range Rover I've ever seen," Cotrell tweeted.

The prince, who is very vocal about his support of the Armed Forces, shared in an interview that he would love it if his niece and nephew were involved in these kinds of activities.

"I would definitely encourage George and Charlotte, if she wants to, to have some sort of involvement in the Armed Forces, guaranteed," Harry said to the Sunday Times. "And I know that William and Catherine would probably echo that as well, depending on the situation for them in those years to come."

While he was away on his official visits, the prince first saw a photo of the Princess Charlotte of Cambridge via photos sent by his brother, Prince William. He said in an interview that he thought his niece was "beautiful" and he "couldn't wait to meet her."

In fact, Harry picked up several gifts that were meant for his niece, and his nephew Prince George. For example, he was given a children's book for Charlotte and Wellington boots at one of his engagements in New Zealand. He was also given a stuffed toy and a babygro from the New Zealand rugby team, the Wellington Hurricanes.
