Bristol Palin Finally Speaks Up About Cancelled Wedding As She Plans To Rebuild Life In Alaska With Her Son Tripp!

Bristol Plain has finally spoken up about her recent wedding cancellation to U.S. Marine Dakota Meyer.

As reported previously, the reality star and politician Sarah Palin's daughter, cancelled her wedding days prior to the actual date. The sudden cancellation was rumored to be because of an alleged marriage that Meyer reportedly hid from Bristol.

While it seems convincing, the Palin family has denied the claims. At the same time, however, they did not release any reason as to why it did not push through. Because of this, fans are convinced that Meyer really might have been married to another female prior to his engagement with Bristol, all without her knowing anything about it.

Recently, Bristol has published an official statement via a blog entry under the Patheos website. She titled the entry as, "The Wedding That Didn't Happen" and addressed the incident to be an "elephant-in-the-room"

"I guess you have seen by now that the wedding - that was supposed to happen last weekend - was called off," she wrote. "I'm sure you've seen this has been all over the media, but this is a painful time for family and friends and I would just really appreciate your prayers."

"I know God's plan is greater than anything else, and Tripp and I are in Alaska beginning to rebuild our lives under much different circumstances than we anticipated," she added.

After which, she thanked her fans and the readers for their continuous love and support.

Previously, immediately after the Bristol Palin wedding cancellation got announced, mom Sarah said that they will still be celebrating life at the farm of Dakota Meyer's family.

"This Kentucky farm is a beautiful setting for our friends and families to gather in celebration of life itself this Memorial Day weekend," she wrote on her facebook page, as reported by People. "Nothing is more precious to us than family, faith and America's freedom."

"On the year anniversary of our families meeting each other, this weekend is to appreciate both our families' unconventional, unexpected chapters in exciting lives, with pages turning to more opportunities to live life vibrantly," Sarah added. "This centers on showing love and respect for our military's sacrifices, and that's what Memorial Day is all about."

Bristol Palin was not present during the said gathering. She was instead perceived to be in Alaska, as her instagram photos proved.
