'Fifty Shades Darker' Movie Release Date Moved Back; Henry Cavill And Charlize Theron Rumored To Be Casted!

The "Fifty Shades Darker" movie release date has been reported to be pushed back to a later date.

As reported by Moviepilot, the initial date for the film's release was on the year 2016. However, due to the challenge of finding a new director and the challenge of finding a solid cast, producers have decided to move it to the year 2017 instead.

It can be recalled that Sam Taylor Johnson, the director for the first film, "Fifty Shades of Grey," will not be back to direct the sequel. This is allegedly because of her relationship with the book's author, E.L. James. Numerous news sources claim that the two would not usually meet eye to eye, when it comes to interpreting the book into the big screen. Sam Tayor Johnson would reportedly have a new idea which E.L. James would usually not agree to. Because of this, they would allegedly always argue on set.

As to the other reason why the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie release date got pushed back, the list of rumored new cast members have been getting fans excited for the movie's release.

In the same article posted by the source linked above, famous celebrity names appeared. These include Cara Delevingne, Henry Cavill and Charlize Theron. Cara is rumored to be a candidate for the role of Leila Williams, an admirer of Christian Grey who turns out to be submissive. Henry is allegedly being approached for the role of Jack Hyde, Anastacia's boss who seems to be interested in her, and is very much attractive like Anastacia's lover, Christian. Charlize is allegedly portraying the role of Elena Lincoln, the woman responsible for awakening Mr. Grey's interest in BDSM. Elena Lincoln is also known in the book as "Mrs. Robinson."

The producers are very keen on making the sequel better than the first film, which received low reviews. As to when in 2017 is the exact "Fifty Shades Darker" movie release date, we have yet to find out.
