Lindsay Lohan recently finished her community service duties, said a report from Us Weekly. The "Mean Girls" star's achievement makes it seem like she is serious about moving on from her wild partying past.

To announce that she has completed 125 hours of court-ordered community service, the once troubled actress posted on Instagram a screenshot of a TMZ news article about her probation.

"Hard work pays off. Thanks you to all those that allowed me to volunteer while in NYC. God bless you all. Amen," Lindsay Lohan wrote after her community service stint ended last Wednesday.

Up until a week before her deadline, Lindsay Lohan was still rushing to finish more than 100 hours of community service. The former Disney star even documented on Instagram the work that she did in various organizations, such as the Duffield Children's Center and TLC Women's Network in New York.

Some of the tasks that Lindsay Lohan completed included setting up a building-block castle and bonding with mothers and kids.

"(Lindsay) Lohan is no different than any other volunteer," the Duffield Children's Center told Page Six in an official statement.

Lindsay Lohan's community service order stemmed from a 2012 reckless driving case. Since then, the redhead celebrity is reportedly eager to change her crazy ways and revive her acting career.

"Lindsay is determined to be a movie star again," an insider told Radar Online. "Lindsay is doing better than she has in years!"

One factor that helped Lindsay Lohan mature is how she stayed in London last year while playing the lead character in a West End production called "Speed the Plow."

Staying in a foreign place lilke London supposedly helped her become more mature, compared to if she stayed in New York all this time.

"It was kind of hard for me to be in New York," she told Telegraph. "The paparazzi ...Every time I left my house, they were at the corner."
