"Great minds think alike," says Dr Pepper's official Twitter account regarding a song sung by one of K-pop's top rappers.

On May 29, the Twitter account for the Coca-Cola Company's carbonated soft drink Dr Pepper retweeteed American musician Diplo spreading the word about his collaboration with 2NE1's CL, Riff Raff, & OG Maco. The song, "Doctor Pepper" was released on May 22.

Dr Pepper's tweeted highlighted the song's lyrics, "Chilling in the freezer when I'm under preassure."

"Doctor Pepper" is a collaboration track between the four musicians, but was written primarily by CL.

"Diplo canceled a session on me and I was so mad at him," the 2NE1 rapper told The Fader upon the song's release. "I was drinking a can of Dr. Pepper and wrote the song so I could go home as soon as possible. Diplo ended up loving it."

CL is the leader of YG Entertainment's female quintet 2NE1. 

The single is one of CL's first English language tracks to hit the American market prior to the release of her first full-length, English language solo album. The 2NE1 singer has been spending time in the United States to work on her debut in the English language market.

No date has been set for CL's debut into the American music market, but YG Entertainment's CEO opened up in April about the plans.
