Calvin Harris has reportedly promised that he will defend Taylor Swift from the revenge that Katy Perry and John Mayer have planned against her.

According to HollywoodLife, the Scottish DJ has told the "Bad Blood" singer that he will be defending her against her enemies, and that includes  Swift's ex-boyfriend John Mayer and her reported rival, Katy Perry.

"Calvin is the best and told Taylor he'll back her up anyway she wants," a source told the site cited above. "Taylor would never ask him to get involved."

According to reports, Katy Perry had asked John Mayer to collaborate on a revenge song about Taylor Swift.

"She's writing some big, anthemic-type song that'll feature dirt on Taylor from what John told her from when they used to date," HEAT reported.

The move from Katy Perry and John Mayer came after Swift's "Bad Blood" music video showing Selena Gomez in a role that fans are calling a Katy Perry reference. Gomez was wearing short dark wig with bangs, something that mimics Perry's signature look.

Selena Gomez' character, Arsyn dukes it out with Swift in the video, and of course the latter emerges victorious.

And so, rumors have emerged about the planned revenge song from Perry and Mayer. In any case, Taylor Swift seems to be happy in her dating life with Calvin Harris and does not seem to mind the rumors because her man has her back.

"She's heard this all before about how Katy is going to get back at her, and she's not surprised Katy would want to get John involved since she always needs a guy in her corner," Hollywood Life's insider revealed. "Taylor isn't happy they're ganging up on her, but she's not wasting her time worrying about it. Whatever they want to throw her way, she can handle."
