60-Year-Old Teacher Performs One Last Dance To 'Uptown Funk' Before Retiring [VIDEO]

Shirley Clements will be retiring from Panorama Ridge Secondary School next year.

The 60-year-old teacher decided to show off her dance moves one last time to “Uptown Funk” in the annual dance competition that she had reportedly initially launched before saying goodbye to her students.

“Yes!!! She owned that routine!!! She has some serious swag. You go girl!,” commented YouTube user CarAmeL624.

Fellow social media user Janet Streenz wrote, “Shows that birthdays don’t count! This lady rocks!”

The performance took place at the Canadian school back in January, but after receiving attention from Ellen DeGeneres, Clements is back in the spotlight, according to Today.com.

Clements had reportedly filmed an earlier rendition of the song late last year and uploaded it on her YouTube channel as well. The earlier version is possibly even better than the recently released performance.

“I hate to leave you, but it’s time to go,” Clements is seen shouting in the video.

“I sure will miss you in Mexico.”
