"The Incredibles 2" trailer 2016 has been rumored to have been confirmed, thus putting into question previous reports about the trailer being released mid this year.

As reported previously, there was a fan-initiated rumor that the much-awaited movie will be releasing a teaser trailer mid this year. Because of the reports, buzz about the much-awaited film had been significantly high.

However, there are new rumors claiming that the first trailer will be released by next year instead. This too, is being initiated by fans. According to them, Pixar will be focusing on other immediate releases, like "Inside Out" that is due to come out this year. These fans are assuming that releasing a teaser for "The Incredibles 2" might interfere with the marketing for "Inside Out."

Moreso, the release date for the film has also yet to be announced. Comicbook previously released an article speculating on two possible dates for the film's release: Nov. 22, 2017 and June 15, 2018. Should it be the former, releasing the first "The Incredibles 2" trailer for 2016 would sound apt.

As previously reported, the movie's director, Brad Bird spoke with Crossmap about the upcoming film and how it is challenging to make sequels to highly successful movies.

"Pixar does not look at sequels as a financial plan," the director said. "We feel we have a relationship with the audience and that they believe in each movie we put out. We believe completely in every movie we put out."

"If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than that first film, then I'd love to return to that world, but it would to be story first," he added.

As to any confirmation about the rumored "The Incredibles 2" trailer 2016, Brad nor Pixar have yet to release one.
