Dixie Chicks Reunion To Happen In 2016; Would They Release A New Album As Well?

Tagged to be the best-selling female group of all time and after having a break from the scene, the Dixie Chicks are bound to have a reunion tour in 2016, which would exclusively happen in Europe.

In a report by Rolling Stone, Natalie Maines, Emily Robison Strayer and Martie Maguire revealed their intentions to tour together once again next year in Europe.

"Superstars, renegades, innovators, heroes, villains, and moms - for over a decade, the Dixie Chicks have grown from a band into a phenomenon, with over 30 million albums sold," the group officially announced their reunion in their official website.

In line with this, the group also revealed in the post on which cities would they be going for the shows.

"Starting in Amsterdam, the tour will then head to the UK and Ireland to play arenas in Birmingham, Manchester, London, Glasgow, and will culminate in Dublin."

The group would start on April 20 in Amsterdam and would finish their short stint on May 4 in Dublin. However, it was speculated by some that Dixie Chicks would still announce a few dates that they may be expected to play in North America to do some tour.

In addition to tour dates being release, more rumors and speculations claim that Dixie Chicks would be releasing a new album as well.
