U.S. Billboard Spotlights Big Bang's World Tour, 'K-Pop Mega Star'

U.S. music site, U.S. Billboard spotlighted idol group Big Bang's world tour and revealed an interview with them.

Today, Billboard released an article with an interview on their official homepage about their world tour that lasted a year.

Billboard stated that Big Bang had gained many views on YouTube and that they were one of the K-pop groups to hold a grand world tour. Billboard wrote, "They have shown amazing results on the Korea charts. They started their world tour last March and became a 'mega star'."

Billboard also revealed their performance video of their "Monster" music video and praised them for their amazing performance.

Billboard also stated, "Big Bang held a total of 48 performances. 19 times in Japan, 6 times in Korea, 4 times in the U.S., 2 times each in China and Hong Kong and more. They traveled to 12 countries and 24 cities for a total of 10 months." They also stated that they met around 800,000 fans around the world in that time as well.

Big Bang commented, "We realized that when all of us are on stage together, that is when we shine the brightest. We are the most passionate when we do our music. It was new and exciting to be able to perform in so many different places."

The group also continued to talk about funny or interesting episodes that happened during their almost 1 year world tour.

On the other hand, leader G-Dragon will begin his 4 Dome tour in Japan starting this April.
