Microsoft Surface Pro 4 & Windows 10 Release Date Set For June 29 [RUMORS]

The Surface Pro 4 and the Windows 10 will have a June 29 release date, new reports suggest, claiming the end of the Surface Pro 3 price drop will lead into the new tablet being released.

Earlier reports, however, claim that Microsoft will launch the Surface Pro 4 on July 29 to coincide with the release date of Windows 10, which will be free to download. Although many speculated that the tablet would be launched prior to the new operating system, the company seems to be likely to release it in coming weeks.

The company's new tablet is expected to receive a specs boost: the Surface Pro 4 is reported to feature a better stylus and camera that will have functionality with the new Windows 10 operating system.

Microsoft officials revealed last month that Windows 10 specs will include Continuum, which allows mobile phone users using the operating system to morph connect with larger devices and morph its screen size.

The update sparked rumors on technology forums that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date may be delayed in order to accommodate this feature.

Microsoft officials are rumored to replace Intel's Haswell processors with either Broadwell of Skylake chips for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Specs featured in the tablet also include a 12-inch display, a 5th generation Intel processor and an N-Trig surface pen, according to SlashGear
