Meghan Trainor's lips may be moving but she still can't talk at the moment after doctors have advised her to go on a complete vocal rest. Several tour dates have been cancelled due to the medical emergency.

According to Billboard, among the cancelled Meghan Trainor tour dates were today's kick off at Atlantic City, New Jersey and her Mohegan Sun performance in Connecticut.

Based on the Meghan Trainor tour dates on her website, she was also expected to perform on July 7 and 9 in Michigan and July 12 in Chicago. No news yet though if said dates or more will be cancelled as well.

Entertainment Tonight also reported that it was "unclear if or when the postponed dates will be rescheduled."

In a report by People, Meghan Trainor was clearly upset over the cancelled tour dates.

"I'm so sorry Megatronz please forgive me," her post on Instagram said.

"I will never speak and completely heal as soon as possible so I can show you how hard we've been working on this," she said further.

The post itself explained that the "All That Bass" singer was ordered a complete vocal rest due to a vocal hemorrhage. She further expressed her sorrow to her fans that made plans and bought tickets for the cancelled Meghan Trainor tour dates.

"I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me," the picture attached to the post said.

The post was followed by an Instagram video of the singer apologizing to her fans with the use of her phone.

"I'm in New York now seeing another doctor. So frustrated but can't make any noise," the caption read.

Her phone flashed messages such as "I want to cry but I can't cuz it will hurt more" and "I hate everything right now."

"I'm sorry Megatronz I will make it up to you I promise," it also said after the Meghan Trainor tour dates cancellation.
