Oasis Reunion 2015 Not Going To Happen After Noel Gallagher Scrapped The Idea, But Will Do It For The Money

For the fans of the 1990s alternative music, Oasis would surely be part of their everyday song list that has hit the mark. However, after the break up of the group in 2009, fans are still hopeful for a once in a lifetime reunion tour for the band.

Furthermore, a recent report almost brought the group together this 2015 after the brothers reportedly had an agreement to do a reunion tour.

In a previous NME report, an unknown source reportedly claimed that Noel and Liam Gallagher are patching things up to form the group once again, after assuming the family ties they had.

"It's early days in terms of the details, but Noel and Liam are back on good terms and ready to give things another go," a source reportedly said. "Nothing is signed but it's what you might call a gentlemen's agreement between them."

"Ultimately they're family and whatever has gone on before can be sorted out - they're very close beneath all the bluster."

However, Noel Gallagher was quick to react with what he heard and denied the rumors of an Oasis reunion in 2015. In a report by Mirror, the older Gallagher said that there would be no reunion coming any time soon but fans should expect them together only if the price is right.

"There was a rumor last week that we've had a gentleman's agreement [to reform the band], but that rumour's come from his people," the Oasis songwriter told Mirror. "It's always left to me in an interview to let the kids down. People say, 'You're breaking these kids' hearts.' Well, what the f***, man?"

"If I was ever going to do it, it would only be for the money," the older Gallagher said. "This isn't me putting it out there, by the way. Would I do it for charity? No way. We're not that kind of people. For Glastonbury? I don't think Michael Eavis has got enough money. But would we get back together one day? As long as everybody is still alive and still has their hair, it's always a possibility. But only for the money."
