The new Girls' Generation single, "Party" was highlighted by both Billboard and FUSE TV as a must-hear summer tune.

On July 7, FUSE TV staff writer Jeff Benjamin published an article titled "Girls' Generation's 'Party' Is Your New Ladies' Night Soundtrack" and wrote, "Girls' Generation is back with another one of their addictive pop jams. For 'Party,' the K-pop phenoms mix lively guitars, perky synths, a catchy whistle hook and a few Auto-Tune croons-a.k.a. all the elements of modern-day summer smash-and top it off with an absolutely saccharine chorus."

"'Party' is one of the year's best girl anthems. Girls' Generation just confirmed that 2015 is officially K-pop's best summer ever," he added.

On the same day, Jeff Benjamin, also a K-pop columnist for Billboard, published an article titled "Girls' Generation Brightens Summer With New 'Party' Single, Tropical Music Video" and described the track as "An ode to partying with your ladies, topped off with a saccharine chorus about drinking together."

He also provided hints for the group's upcoming singles by writing, "'Party' is the first of three singles Girls' Generation plans to release this summer. Look out for 'Lion Heart' and 'You Think,' which appear to serve jazz-pop and hip-hop sounds, respectively."

Girls' Generation's "Party" has drawn explosive responses since its release on July 7. It dominated music charts within 2 hours of release and its music video surpassed 8.1 million views within 4 days of release.

Girls' Generations will officially begin their comeback activities by performing at KBS 2TV Music Bank on July 10, MBC Show! Music Core on July 11, and SBS Inkigayo on July 12 .
