The hype surrounding "The Flash" season 2 just keeps getting bigger with the latest teaser trailer revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2015.

Fans can expect a new costume and power for Barry Allen/The Flash and more speedsters will be introduced in Wally West, Jay Garrick, and the new villain, Zoom.

The teaser showcases Barry's new powers and he confirmed that he will indeed have a new trick up his sleeve. Screen Rant reported that fans will see it as early as episode 2.

"I mentioned he'll have a new mentor in Season 2. In the second episode they're already working together and in the second episode, Barry does something new with his powers that are really exciting to me," says Gustin

"We've never done it before. It's pretty different than anything else we've done."

Asked to explain more about the new power, he said, "it involves lightning."

Gustin also said that he and the real Dr. Harrison Wells

"Wells and Barry won't be interacting at all, right out of the gate. Wells is on the show, but we're introducing the multiverse concept so that's why he still exists somewhere."

It is worth noting that team Flash won't have a "figure" like Dr. Wells/Eobard Thawne in the upcoming season. But, Gustin also said that he will have a new mentor and all signs are pointing to Jay Garrick, the first Flash. The role will be portraid by Teddy Sears of "Masters of Sex."

In a separate report by Screen Rant, Joe's new partner will be Shantel VanSanten and she will play the role of Patty Spivot. She will also be a love interest for Barry Allen in the upcoming season.

Also, Wally West has been confirmed to join the fray as well as Zoom.

"The Flash" season two will make its debut on October 6, 2015.
