Even the toughest of men and women can’t eat a Carolina Reaper pepper.

When a 9-year-old Scottish boy under the YouTube username of Pikachu The Pokemon decided to eat what is known as the world’s hottest pepper, he showed a reaction so calm yet concerning for social media users all around.

He really should’ve spit out the pepper, but was given the advice from his grandfather a little late into the process.

“The first few chews were very hot but just about manageable. Then the volcano erupted,” wrote Pikachu The Pokemon in the description of his video.

The best part may be the moment when he realizes what he’s done and his face turns into absolute horror. The video has garnered more than 1 million views and counting.

The young boy’s bravery has been applauded in the social media world.

“Kid you got balls. Congrats, I bet you were an absolute mess like I was. Ate an entire jar of peanut butter and downed a pint of milk and still couldn’t dull the burn. Next time spit it out,” commented YouTube user ThatRexGuy.

Fellow social media user wrote, “Mate! You’re insane. You’ll go far kid.”
