With the official "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" Steam page now live, and plenty of new direct information from creator Scott Cawthon, there's a bunch of new theories to consider.

One of the latest theories to surface has to do with the star of the series, Freddy Fazbear.

The guys of 8-Bit Gaming recently released another "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" theory video, this time analyzing the Steam page. Specifically, the popular gaming YouTube channel explained that they believe there's a reason as to why Freddy Fazbear is in the teaser photos, the banner, but not the trailer.

"We haven't actually seen Freddy in the trailer, so it's making me think that maybe he's going to be one of these more unique roles. Maybe showing him the trailer might reveal a little too much. Maybe he has a big surprise in regards to the Nightmare Freddy character," said Ryan.

As for what possible surprise that Freddy Fazbear could bring, one fan in the comments section of YouTube believes it will be related to the tiny Freddys depicted in the trailer and one of the newest teaser photos.

"The Fredlet mechanic for the fourth game could maybe work something like this: You must look behind you and under the bed to flash the Fredlets who will frequently try and crawl onto the bed. Flashing them will either reset them to their original positions or freeze them in their tracks," said Patrick Fisher.

He further explained that not using the flashlight might have dire consequences for the players of the game.

"If they [tiny freddys] manage to get on the bed, like we see in the trailer, you must flash them to make them go back under and restart their movements. If you delay or neglect to flash them, then they will either kill you or Nightmare Freddy could emerge from the bed and do it as many people have been speculating," added Fisher.

 As with any theory, there's always the chance that "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise creator Scott Cawthon is leading fans into the wrong direction. After all, he's done so on various other occasions.

Nevertheless, fans will get their chance to play "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" much sooner than October. The new release date is currently set for some time in August.
