Miranda Lambert cheated, and apparently, that was the reason why she and Blake Shelton divorced. However, new reports claim that the country superstar slammed down the rumors, saying it was the other way around.

A day after reports came out that Lambert was unfaithful to ex-husband Shelton with Chris Young, TMZ reported that it was actually the latter who allegedly cheated "with a famous country singer".

According to fans, It has become a classic case of he said/she said as sources close to Lambert claim that she "never" committed adultery.

Shelton filed for divorce on July 6, and their union officially ended July 20.

According to NY Daily News, Lambert was all for a trial separation, but "The Voice" coach decided to go ahead and file for divorce.

"[Miranda] wanted to try and make it work, maybe have more of a separation," A friend of Lambert told People, "But he said, 'I'm filing.'"

A source for Shelton admitted that, "It came on very quickly."

"It was very clear that things weren't going to work out," the source said. "So he decided to end it. He still loves her very much. He hasn't cheated ever, ever, ever. This has really shaken him."

Meanwhile, aside from rumors that Miranda Lambert cheated, there's purportedly another reason why the two parted ways.

Lambert claimed her marriage fell apart because Shelton was way more into "The Voice" than her. Sources from Miranda's camp told TMZ that she felt like an abandoned wife.

It appears that Shelton's top-rating TV show was a constant source of conflict between the then husband and wife. Coaching for "The Voice" required Shelton to spend between seven and eight months a year in Los Angeles, a place Lambert apparently "hates," according to the source cited above.

The same sources said Lambert would sometimes fly to L.A. even just for a day to see Shelton, but the latter rarely returned the favor by coming to Oklahoma or wherever Lambert was working.

More than the rumor that Miranda Lambert cheated, the source said she felt alone and eventually said that, "This is no way to live."
