A young Northern Saw Whet Owl decided it was time to share its thoughts with humans.

In a video that’s gone viral, a baby owl is seen having a conversation with Boulder County Sheriff’s Office deputies during a chance encounter.

The interaction is quite amazing as the baby owl is seen clicking back to the deputy when she starts talking to the animal.

“Our deputies were driving when they stopped in their tracks by this young Northern Saw Whet Owl. After some curious head twisting (on both sides) it flew safely away,” wrote Boulder County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page regarding the incident.

The 27-second clip has garnered more than 3 million views and over 5,000 likes after being uploaded only three days ago. The adorable owl is garnering the love of social media users all around.

“Adorable,” commented YouTube user giovanoipilu.

Social media user Jacqueline Driggers wrote, “If I had run across that as a kid, I must admit, I would have taken him home with me.”
