Motorola has revealed the third generation version of its flagship Moto X mobile device, which has been named the Moto X Pure Edition. 

The company also announced the release of the Moto X Style and the Moto X Play. Both versions will be made available for a variety of prices depending on variances in specs included. 

The Moto X Pure Edition is expected to have a September 2015 release date. Although an official launch day has yet to be announced, developers have confirmed that it will be released within that month. This is supported by the fact that Apple is expected to release its new iPhone 6s phone around the same time, forcing Motorola to have an earlier release. 

Motorola's new device includes a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440) quad-HD display, a 6-core Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. 16 and 32GB models will also be made available. 

Also included in the Moto X Pure Edition release date specs are dual stereo Sound front speakers, water-repellent coating with aluminum design and a 3,000 mAh battery. 

The new mobile device will be available for all carriers in the United States.
