Kylie Jenner is allegedly using Instagram to get her parents attention. According to a report from Hollywood Life, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is jealous of her supermodel sister, Kendall Jenner.

The 17-year-old is allegedly trying to get close to her parents, who have been busy for months. Caitlyn Jenner has been an active spokesperson for fellow transgenders, while "momager" Kris Jenner is reportedly focusing too much on helping Kendall Jenner with her modelling career.

Just recently, a photo uploaded by Kylie Jenner on her Instagram page became controversial as the underage TV personality flaunted what seemed like a wedding ring. The youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister is rumored to be dating "Rack City" rapper Tyga, who is almost 10 years older than her.

The hip-hop star has a two-year-old son named King Cairo from his relationship with former girlfriend and starlet Blac Chyna.

Given all the issues surrounding her relationship with Tyga, Kylie Jenner's parents are supposedly not in favour of them getting together.

"This is the way Kylie gets attention from her parents - by flashing a diamond ring on her wedding finger for the entire world to see," an insider explained.

"She knows neither of her parents would approve of her getting engaged right now, so why not stir the pot? This is her way of getting their attention."

"It's like she has to do something drastic to get their attention. It's really a cry for help," the insider added.

Aside from focusing on her rumored relationship with Tyga, Kylie Jenner has been using Instagram and her other social media sites to call attention to herself.

"Caitlyn is all about Caitlyn right now, and Kris is all about Kendall and her modeling career," a source explained.

"Kylie, being only 17, feels left out. So if she can't get attention from her parents, than at least she's getting attention from the public."

"What Kylie needs is some quality time with her mom and dad. She is still a child and needs her parents now more than ever," the source added.
