According to IGN, "Titanic Star" Billy Zane and "American Pie" actor Jason Biggs are in talks to play villain roles in the upcoming "Spider-Man" reboot.

The cast of the new version of "Spider-Man" seems to be coming together with Tom Holland being announced as the new Peter Parker, and Marisa Tomei reportedly playing the role of Aunt May. John Watts has also been confirmed to helm the film and will be working on a script written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.

Now, an original report by Latino Review states that both Zane and Biggs are allegedly currently under negotiations to star in the reboot as villains.

Zane is said to be in his final negotiations with Marvel to take on the role of Adrian Toomes, otherwise known as The Vulture, Cinemablend writes. If the rumor is true, this the first time that the comic book villain will be making a screen debut after Sam Raimi's plan to feature The Vulture in his planned "Spider-Man 4" was scrapped.

This could possibly happen as The Vulture's wings were featured in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," but the issue has yet to be confirmed by the involved parties.

Other than that, another actor who is said to be joining the cast includes Jason Biggs. A report via UPROXX says that the Biggs could possibly be playing Mac Gargan slash The Scorpion, another villain in the "Spider-Man" comic book series.

Biggs is also reportedly in final negotiations to appear in the film, but others suggest that it is quite difficult to picture the comedic actor playing an intimidating role in the film.

Apart from Zane and Biggs, other stars have also been named in the list of cast member, including "House MD" star Hugh Laurie, who was reportedly slated to star as J. Jonah Jameson. Miranda Cosgrove is also included in the mix to play Betty Brant, as well as Forest Whittaker who is said to be in talks to play Robbie Robertson.

All of the claims made have yet to be confirmed.
