Ex Ferrari Boss Sad With Michael Schumacher's Health Condition

When the former boss of Ferrari was inducted into the automotive hall of fame, the first thing he did was to give honor to his most decorated driver, Michael Schumacher, whose latest health condition is still very much unknown following the news blackout by the family.

Luca di Montezemolo said that Michael Schumacher's health condition is "very sad."

"I don't know if I would have received this award without him. It is dedicated to him, because he is trying to win his toughest race." he said of the 7-time F1 champion.

Fans hoping to get the latest news updates on Michael Schumacher's health condition have been left in the dark as the family has just filed a case against two tabloids for speculating on his health, and also perhaps to serve as a warning for the rest of the media.

In May this year, spokesperson Sabine Kehm gave the latest update about Michael Schumacher's health condition after his skiing accident.

"Schumacher- manager Kehm: - We're happy to say he is doing better. This given his very serious head-injuries. Recovery will take very long," said the report.

The Metro magazine claimed that the family has been spending £100,000 a week to pay for his medical expenses in light of Michael Schumacher's condition, as the best doctors and nurses attend to the F1 champion's needs 24/7.

Dr. Jean-Francois Payen, one of Schumacher's medical staff, had said back in November that the F1 champion may take years to recover.

"I have noticed some progress but I would say we will have to give him time," he said. "It is like for other patients. We are in a time scale of one to three years, so you need patience."

Last month, Corrina won a legal victory against the tabloids Bunte, Freizeit Revue and Freizeit Spaß as the local court imposed a ban on any report on Michael Schumacher's health condition without the express consent of the family.
