'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' Theory About Series Lore Confirmed For Release By The Game Theorists

As any good "Five Nights at Freddy's" fan understands, half the fun is developing and analyzing theories about the lore.

Just what is the story behind the creepy animatronics, the purple guy, and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?

Over the course of four games, fans have scoured every teaser image and every game, always hoping to find the one clue that unlocks the series. Or, if you're lazy like me you've relied on The Game Theorist YouTube Channel to come to the most researched conclusions.

Recently, Matthew Patrick released a "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" game theory video, specifically addressing the Bite of 87. However, within the comment section, Patrick confirmed what most of us are probably waiting for - a "Five Nights at Freddy's" series lore theory.

Patrick left a comment addressing many questions fans had in regards to his "Five Nights at Freddy's 4," explaining that he will release a lore video later.

"The 1983 date on the TV, yes I was aware of it when writing the episode. That will be more fully addressed in the lore video," said Patrick.

Unfortunately, there's always the chance that Patrick will once again be blindsided by creator Scott Cawthon. Several times he has released the games ahead of the supposed release dates, and made announcements right after people were certain that the series was finished.

Cawthon however does appear to be finished with "Five Nights At Freddy's," as he's updated his official website with a photo of all the different animatronics. The caption of the photo says "thank you," making it seem that this will be the last game.

If indeed it is the last game, perhaps fans of Matthew Patrick and The Game Theorists' YouTube channel will finally have a theory they can consult to explain, once and for all, what happened during the "Five Nights at Freddy's."

And if not, there's always something to be made of the movie.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is currently available on Steam, Android, and iOS.
