NBA Draft 2016: Ben Simmons Or Skal Labisierre? Who Is The Better Choice At Number One?

Next year's NBA draft class is touted to be another strong one as prodigious talents like Ben Simmons and Skal Labisierre will be headlining next year's batch. The question is who should go number one?

As of the moment, Draft Express has Skal Labisierre listed as the no. 1 pick for next year's draft. For those who haven't heard much about the Haitian prospect, here's what makes him special according to some NBA scouts.

DraftExpress.com analyst Jonathan Givony is totally convinced that the level of talent Skal Labissiere brings into the table is more than enough to guarantee him as the 1st pick of next year's draft.

"He's just so talented. When you've been doing it for as long as I have, you kind of know when to make the move," he said. "Seven feet tall and he's so frickin' skilled. It's hard to find guys like that."

Not only that, he also have the shooting prowess that is also considered elite-level.

"He doesn't shoot it like a lot of big guys - like flat-footed and slow," Givony said. "He can really rise up, almost like a guard. He has a very high release point. He has a very high arch on his shot. And he has really soft touch, too, so it makes it really hard to block."

Meanwhile, the Australian Ben Simmons is highly touted as the most all-around young studs outside the NBA right now.

"He can play on any NBA team right now," an NBA scout told Yahoo Sports. "He's big and sees the game like a point guard. He can guard shooting guards, small forwards and power forwards. That's real talent. He looks 7-footers in the eye. Just skip him and go on to evaluate the next guy."

His versatility to use both hands will also open plenty of opportunity in the offensive and defensive end.

"He is reverse ambidextrous. He is unselfish and loves to pass. In a triangle offense he could run the point guard position in the NBA. He has a high basketball IQ and shows leadership qualities. His biggest weakness is his jump shot, but there is lots of time for improvement," wrote Yahoo Sports.

Here are some of their highlights.
